Case Overview

Baishicheng Hydraulic designed a complete 120MPa ultra-high pressure hydraulic system with matching ultra-high pressure hydraulic cylinders for rebar sleeve cold extrusion connection applications.

This equipment is developed for civil engineering steel bar connection work, especially for projects requiring high-strength mechanical connection performance, such as nuclear power construction, building projects, bridge construction, and infrastructure engineering.

Unlike welding, binding, or ordinary threaded connection methods, this solution uses hydraulic cold extrusion technology to form a strong mechanical locking structure between ribbed rebars and connecting sleeves. During operation, ribbed rebars are inserted into a dedicated connecting sleeve. The hydraulic system drives the ultra-high pressure cylinder to apply radial compression force to the sleeve. Under controlled pressure, the sleeve undergoes plastic cold deformation and tightly fits the longitudinal and transverse ribs of the steel bars.

This creates a strong mechanical interlocking structure between the sleeve and the rebars, forming an integrated rigid connection.
